The boil water notice has been cancelled for the area.
From Harris County Water Control and Improvement District No. 74 (HCWCID 74):
"The WATER BOIL NOTICE has been canceled.

On July 1, 2026, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Harris County WCID74 public water system, 1010480, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of June 1, 2026.

De parte del Distrito de Control y Mejora de Aguas del Condado de Harris n.º 74 (HCWCID 74):
"Se ha cancelado el AVISO DE HERVIR EL AGUA.

El 1 de julio de 2026, la Comisión de Calidad Ambiental de Texas (TCEQ) exigió al sistema público de abastecimiento de agua del Distrito de Control y Mejora de Aguas del Condado de Harris n.º 74 (HCWCID 74), con número de identificación 1010480, que emitiera un aviso de hervir el agua. El objetivo era informar a los clientes, particulares y empleados de que, debido a condiciones ocurridas recientemente en el sistema, era necesario hervir el agua antes de utilizarla para beber o para consumo humano.

El sistema público de abastecimiento de agua ha tomado las medidas correctivas necesarias para restablecer la calidad del agua distribuida para beber o para consumo humano, y ha presentado a la TCEQ los resultados de análisis de laboratorio que indican que, a partir del 1 de junio de 2026, ya no es necesario hervir el agua antes de su uso.
