From before... to after. 🏡✨

After severe flood damage left Carolyn's home in need of critical repairs, it's now safer, stronger, and ready for many more years of memories.

Thanks to the generous support of Megan Thee Stallion’s Pete and Thomas Foundation, Carolyn's home received major repairs, including a new roof, new siding, exterior restoration, and other critical improvements that help protect her home for years to come.

And this is just the beginning. More Houston homeowners are already receiving the repairs they need, helping longtime residents remain safe in the homes and neighborhoods they love.

Become a CORE Playhouse Volunteer and help lead volunteer groups while making an even bigger impact in our community.

Houston Habitat's Playhouse Program builds playhouses year-round for children who need a safe place to play, imagine, learn, and simply be kids. As a CORE Playhouse Volunteer, you'll help guide builds, support fellow volunteers, and play an important role in bringing these special spaces to life.

🏡 Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Modular Homes Open House in Houston's Historic Fifth Ward!

It was a pleasure welcoming neighbors, supporters, and community members inside Houston Habitat's newest homes to see firsthand how innovation is helping us expand affordable homeownership opportunities across Houston.

Guests had the chance to tour the homes, learn about the modular construction process, and ask questions about how these homes are built. Constructed in a climate-controlled facility before being delivered and assembled on-site, modular homes meet the same building codes and quality standards as traditional site-built homes, while allowing us to build more efficiently.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this day possible. While one home will remain our model home, we can't wait to welcome a future Habitat family through the front door of the other. 💙
