Everywhere you look—cities, suburbs, rural areas—the stability that home should bring remains out of reach for too many families.

At #HoustonHabitat, we know that a family should never have to spend more than 30 percent of their income on a home. Join us to help make the #CostOfHome something we all can afford: houstonhabitat.org/initiatives/cost-of-home 🏡

Happy #EarthDay! According to a study done by Urban Institute, children spend 55 to 69 percent of their time at home, where they may be exposed to indoor pollutants from cooking, cosmetics, paints, and more.

Home should be a healthy place for you and your family, which is why #HoustonHabitat homes are built with energy efficient windows, good HVAC systems and low emission paint and floors. Learn more about our homes: bit.ly/2Qr4kwz ♻️🏡

Very noble the objectives that are set, but it is effective for people who are good for nothing. It takes you more than a year to make your house and during that time you cannot change your job position even to earn much more even if you have worked in the place for more than three years, you change to a position of higher remuneration and you immediately lose all the effort you have made for over a year !!! Even with the increase (change within the same company, we kept everything and continued complying with the established amount !!! I lost more than a year working with my daughter, getting up early, being cold ... and she changed jobs for the better and they took everything from us, home, hours ... everything, almost when it was finished. It didn't work for us.😕😕

We are looking to donate to a charity 1,982 yards of brand new carpet on the rolls. Small tinge of smoke do to the small fire we had in our warehouse. about 25 rolls, commercial and residential. over 29K worth. For a 501 C# only.
I need help. It's a simple thing. I was told by a judge in February to find a place in Houston to take custody of my kids but it has been the hardest thing to do. I have humbled myself, threw away any pride, bothered people by making so many posts all for my kids, contacted so many agencies, charities, churches, & I am still stuck in Cali. This is ridiculous!!!

I’m interested in signing up to volunteer to build! When I try to create an online volunteer profile, I’m asked to enter a join code or type BYPASS to continue the application. I don’t have a code and BYPASS isn’t allowing me to proceed (I’ve tried all caps and lowercase). Any advice, or is there a form I can download, fill out, and send in?
