⚠️ FLOOD RECOVERY PERMIT CLINICS ⚠️

Were you affected by the recent flooding and have questions about permits or rebuilding your property?

Representatives from the Department of Business and Neighborhood Services (DBNS) will be available at upcoming Flood Recovery Permit Clinics to assist residents with permit applications, answer questions about building requirements, and provide guidance through the recovery process.

Representatives from Ravenswood Community Corporation and Pro Bono Indiana, Inc. will also be on-site to connect residents with additional recovery resources and provide assistance with flood-related legal questions.

⚠️ FLOOD RECOVERY PERMIT CLINICS ⚠️

DBNS representatives will be on-site at THREE upcoming permit clinics to help residents apply for permits for damaged properties and to answer questions related to flood and building permit applications.

Representatives from Ravenswood Community Corporation and Pro Bono Indiana, Inc. will also be present to help residents connect to additional resources and answer any legal questions related to flood recovery efforts.

MESA Indy Alert: Urgent Info: Flood Recovery Permit Clinic at the Washington Twp. Government Center, 5302 N. Keystone Avenue. Wednesday 10/7: 4pm to 7pm, Saturday 10/10: 10am to 2pm and Wednesday 10/14: 4pm to 7pm. The Department of Business and Neighborhood Services will have individuals onsite to assist with applications for permits and permitting questions. Pro Bono Indiana will have individuals able to provide free legal assistance. The Washington Twp. Trustees office and Ravenswood Community Corp. will have representatives available to assist residents connecting with other resources.

Cold weather will be here before we know it. 🥶

If your home was impacted by the August flooding, now is a good time to make sure your heating system is working properly before temperatures begin to drop.

If your HVAC system was damaged by the flooding, FEMA assistance may be available to help with eligible disaster-related repairs or replacement.

Don’t wait until the first cold night to find out there’s a problem. Check your system now and address any issues before colder weather arrives.

FEMA Individual Assistance applications must be submitted by October 25, 2026.
