Most of our area saw some much-needed rainfall earlier today! While we are dry this evening, scattered showers and storms re-enter the forecast tomorrow afternoon. More widespread rain chances come on Tuesday night into Wednesday, when a few stronger storms cannot be ruled out along the TN state line. The highest rain totals will come wherever storms track, but this activity is expected to bring at least another 0.5-1.0 inches of rain to Eastern through Thursday morning.

There are multiple chances for rain this week in Eastern , starting tonight into tomorrow morning. Showers and storms will bring much-needed rainfall to the region, and the highest rain totals will depend on wherever the individual storms track. That is hard to pinpoint a few days in advance, but the coarser data below depicts southern and western counties with the greatest chances of seeing at least an inch of rain by Thursday morning.
