The culmination of hard work, resilience, and leadership.

On May 2, 2025, eight cadets from the University of North Florida proudly took the oath of office and were commissioned as Second Lieutenants in the United States Army.

Throughout their time in the UNF Army ROTC program, these cadets have experienced both the challenges and rewards of rigorous training, leadership development, and lasting camaraderie. From early morning physical training to demanding field exercises and leadership labs, they continually pushed beyond their limits, growing stronger, more confident, and more resilient with every step. Guiding them along the way was a dedicated cadre of instructors and mentors whose professionalism, commitment, and support helped shape these cadets into capable leaders.

From cadets to commissioned officers.
Years of discipline, training, and leadership have led to this moment. The journey was far from easy, but it built leaders ready to serve with purpose and pride.

As they step forward to serve as Army officers, their journey stands as a reminder that with perseverance, teamwork, and dedication, anything is possible.

The Army’s newest 2LTs. It is only the beginning.
