The Holiday Tree Lighting took place on Friday, Dec. 1 at NAS Jacksonville! More than 800 families came out to celebrate the lighting of the holiday tree.

The annual Trees for Troops tree giveaway provided over 100 trees to E1-E6 Active duty Service Members aboard NAS Jacksonville on Friday, Dec. 1. Trees for Troops, a national program, was launched in 2005 by the Christmas Spirit Foundation and with the help of FedEx, delivered more than 4,300 Christmas Trees to five U.S. military bases in its initial year and in 2022, the program shipped a total of 293,392 trees. 🌲🌲
Thank you to the MWR Liberty Center for coordinating the tree giveaway.
