Story time with Mrs. Lanzas and Szalc and Smith's class! A little spooky, a little silly, and just enough Halloween mischief to make those shoes go CLOMP, CLOMP! and those gloves go CLAP, CLAP! 🎃

What a HUGE win for our football team last night. Yesterday, our boys battled Southeast in a matchup between two undefeated conference teams and came away with an exciting 22-20 VICTORY! With this win, our team moves to 3-0 in conference play! Our players showed heart, determination, and teamwork to pull out a hard-fought win in a big conference matchup. Please help congratulate our players and coaches when you see them today! We are extremely proud of their hard work and the way they continue to represent our school.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our student-athletes! We will be back at Ragsdale on Wednesday, November 4th against Kiser in our last season game at 5:00.

Go Tigers!!!

Science in action! 🧲 Szalc students explored magnetic force, tested what magnets attract, and discovered the power of magnetic fields through hands-on learning. Little scientists, big discoveries!

Good evening, Jamestown Middle School families. This is Dr. Vernon with a few important reminders for the upcoming week.

This week is the final week of the first quarter. If you haven’t done so already, you can set up a parent portal account and check your child’s progress in Infinite Campus. Make sure to talk with your child about their progress.

This coming Friday will be a teacher workday. There will be no school for students.

This week is spirit week. You can find more information about each day’s theme on Class Dojo and our social media sites. As a reminder, our school dress code still applies for each day.

Our annual PTA Color Run fundraiser will kick off this week. More information will be coming home and will be posted on our social media sites. This is a terrific fundraiser capped off with our annual Color Run for participating students on November 6th. We hope all families will participate.

Boys volleyball and girls soccer will have matches on Monday at home against Western and on Thursday at home against Southwest. The football team and cheerleaders will be in action at home on Tuesday against Southeast. As a reminder, any student wishing to attend a home sporting event must have a parent with them for the entire game.

We are looking forward to another wonderful week at JMS!

Go Tigers!!!
