Attention Members:
Reminder that our annual Lansdowne Firefighters Appreciation Party is Saturday August 29th at the Station.
This years theme will be same as last years Hoedown. We will have the Pig Roast and BBQ, the Mechanical Bull, the Kiddie Pool, the Ice Cream Truck and all our Favorite Four Legged Friends will be returning for the event.

All LFC Members and their Family's are invited and the party starts at 3pm.
We hope to see you all there!

Rescue 19 assisted the Upper Darby Fire Department.

Command had Fire in the basement of a vacant hospital.

Rescue 19 was assigned under Assistant 4 completing primary searches and checking for fire extension on the floors above.

This incident reached 2 Alarms.

Engine 19 is currently operating on a large scrap yard fire in Darby township. Darby Township Volunteer Fire Company #4 Station 76

Deputy 19 is standing by for additional emergencies with regional covers from out of county.

At 13:38 hours, the box was struck for the 40 block of W. Stratford Ave. in Lansdowne.

Engine 19 arrived as the first-due engine and went in service with 200 feet of 1¾-inch hose.

Engine 19 located a fire on the first floor and quickly extinguished it, holding the fire to the area of origin.

Chief 4 held the Lansdowne Command.

At 21:20 hours, the box was struck on Park View Ave. in Darby Borough.

Engine 19 arrived and operated as the first-due engine (FDE), quickly knocking down the bulk of the fire while additional crews assisted with opening up to fully extinguish and contain the remaining fire.

Later in the evening, companies were dispatched to the 80 block of E. LaCross Ave. for a reported building fire.

Engine 19 arrived to find a dumpster fully involved with no exposure hazards.

The Lansdowne Fire Company would like to congratulate one of our own, Firefighter Luca Rizzi, on his recent graduation from the Delaware County Community College Police Academy.

This achievement reflects Luca’s hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving others. We are proud to see him reach this important milestone and begin the next chapter of his public service career.

We wish Luca a safe, successful, and rewarding career in law enforcement. Congratulations as well to all of the graduates on their accomplishment, and best of luck in your future endeavors.
