🎉 Huge thanks to everyone who’s already signed up to volunteer for Arts on the Ave! Our community’s support is what makes this festival so special.

We’re still looking for a few more helping hands for evening teardown and cleanup from 6–8 PM (and we’ll likely finish early!). If you’re coming to enjoy the festival, why not stick around, lend a hand, and help us wrap up the day? It’s a fun, easy way to connect with neighbors and make a big difference!

🧶✨ We are OBSESSED with how cute the beginning of our yarn bombing project is turning out.

Saturday's Public Art Day at the Lansdowne Farmers Market () was so fun! We spent the morning teaching people to crochet and started wrapping the first poles at the Landing. Huge thank you to everyone who has donated squares, yarn, unfinished projects, and time! 💛

If you’ve got a little extra time this week and want to help us keep installing, let us know! We could use a few more handy souls comfortable with a whip stitch to help get pieces attached to poles!

We can’t wait to see the whole Avenue covered in color by Arts on the Avenue.

🎨 Art doesn't just beautify a community. It builds one.

For over two decades, LEDC has organized free, public festivals that bring thousands of neighbors together and put dollars directly into the hands of local artists, musicians, and small businesses.

Arts on the Avenue — now in its 21st year — features 70+ juried artists, live music, food trucks, and family activities right on Baltimore Ave. This year's festival is coming up in 2 weeks on Sunday, May 17 from 12–6 PM. Free and open to all.

And that's just the start for 2026! Open Open Open in September turns Lansdowne's creative spaces into one unforgettable night, and A Bit of the Arts brings neighbors together each November for an intimate winter market in the historic 20th Century Club.

"Thanks to the LEDC I've shopped at farmers markets and art festivals, attended gallery shows and workshops, made connections and built community. I can't imagine Lansdowne without the powerhouse that is the LEDC." — Jen, community member
