MAY 29th BURGERVILLE CANCELLED
Since early Tuesday morning, Cowlitz Chaplains have been actively working with and ministering to the families who lost loved ones in the Nippon incident. We will continue providing services until all victims have been recovered and identified. Therefore we are cancelling tomorrow’s fundraiser at the Kelso Burgerville, and will reschedule at a later date.

We are excited to introduce our newest chaplain, Chaplain Jonathan. We planned to officially start him June 1st, but yesterday's Nippon incident changed that. Jonathan took time off his job to be at the AWPPW hall yesterday and today, and he may be back there tomorrow. As a chaplain, you never know where or when you'll be needed. Welcome aboard, Jonathan!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families affected by yesterday's tragedy. Chaplains Mario, Brian, Darryl, and Jonathan were at the hall yesterday and today helping folks in their time of grief. We will be at the hall tomorrow also. Photos below were taken at last night's prayer vigil at the park - Chaplain Brian leading a group in prayer in the top photo, Chaplain Mario speaking in the bottom photo.

Four Cowlitz County Chaplains responded to this morning's chemical tank implosion and have been at the hall ministering to the families who are waiting for updates about their loved ones.
We encourage everyone who can to join us at tonight's prayer vigil.

At 8pm tonight, There will be a Community Vigil-Prayer at the R.A. Long Park. This is a impromptu get together for community to show support of folks impacted today by the tragedy at Nippon.

Like & Share so more community can know and attend.

We would greatly appreciate it if you would get your lunch, dinner, or both at Burgerville (600 W Main St in Kelso) on Friday May 29th between 11am and 7pm. Why? Because the Cowlitz Chaplaincy will receive a donation of 20% of your purchase, at no additional cost to you! The only catch is you MUST let them know you want your purchase to be included, so mention the Chaplaincy and we both win - your donation provides funds so the Chaplaincy can continue providing services to 1st Responders and those in our community who have had a tragic event occur to a loved one. We hope to see you there!

If you order ahead using the Burgerville app, please use promo code BV GIVES, and 20% of your purchase will be included also. That's a sweet deal!
