🌟 Deputy Clerk Spotlight 🌟
Meet Stella H., a Deputy Clerk in the Domestic Violence Intake Center. She has been an TEAM member nearly 11 years.
A Louisville native, Stella grew up in Germantown graduating from duPont Manual High School. Before joining the OCCC, she spent 17 years working in the medical field, primarily in a laboratory, where she served as an assistant supervisor.
In her role here, she takes pride in helping customers, many of whom have been through incredibly difficult circumstances. She is grateful to work alongside an amazing group of coworkers who make a sometimes-stressful job much better. Stella’s heart for helping others extends well beyond the workplace. She and her late husband Harvey were foster parents for several years, primarily caring for teenagers.
Faith is an important part of Stella’s life, and she loves attending church. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and going on adventures with her sister Alice and enjoys watching her great-nephew play baseball. Stella has made it a daily goal to be kind and speak encouraging words to others. She believes that a little kindness and encouragement can make a meaningful difference.

The Louisville Metro Police Foundation is celebrating Law Enforcement Appreciation Month by welcoming Ringo, a new drug interdiction K-9 joining Detective Jeff McCauley and the Criminal Interdiction Unit of the Louisville Metro Police Department.
The Foundation is also launching a K-9 Police Dog Retirement Fund to help provide retired K-9s with the veterinary care and support they deserve after years of service.
According to their press release, in 2025 Detective McCauley and his longtime partner Ripley helped lead to seizures of more than 211 kg of m**h, 61 kg of co***ne, 30 kg of fentanyl, 60,000+ fentanyl pills and $347,000 connected to the drug trade.
