🥜❤️ LHS PEER HELPERS SHOWED UP & SHOWED OUT! ❤️🥜

Labor Day weekend in Luverne means one thing—you can smell those famous boiled peanuts all across town as the World’s Largest Peanut Boil gets underway! For more than 55 years, the Luverne Shriners have carried on this special tradition, bringing our community together while supporting a great cause.

Today, our very own LHS Peer Helpers rolled up their sleeves and joined in! 🐯❤️

Our students spent the day bagging peanuts, helping customers, cleaning up, and doing whatever was needed to lend a hand. And let me tell you—it was a HOT one! ☀️🥵 But the heat didn’t stop this group from working hard, smiling, and serving their community.

One of the best parts? Even after a long, hot day, they were already talking about coming back to volunteer again next year! 🥜

We are so proud of these students for representing LHS with kindness, hard work, and a servant’s heart. This is what being a Peer Helper is all about—showing up, helping others, and making a difference in our community.

A huge THANK YOU to the Luverne Shriners for allowing our students to be part of such a wonderful Luverne tradition!

🐅 TIGER CROSS COUNTRY IS ON THE MOVE! 🐅

The Tiger Cross Country Team had an incredible morning of racing at the Auburn Tiger Classic! Our runners stepped onto a tough course ready to compete, and they did exactly that. From the starting line to the final stretch, every Tiger showed determination, grit, and the kind of fight that makes us so proud to call them our own! 💪🏻🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We are especially proud of the PRs earned today and the way each runner continued to push through a challenging course while competing against some very strong 6A competition. These athletes are putting in the work, trusting the process, and getting better with every race. Every mile, every finish, and every personal best is another step forward! 👏🏻

Today was another great opportunity to learn, compete, and see where we are as a team. Now it’s time to head back to the drawing board for the next few weeks, continue putting in the work, and prepare for what’s ahead.

And then… WE’RE COMING HOME! 🐅🔥

On September 12th, the Tigers will hit our “home” course in Andalusia, and we want to see our Tiger family there! Come out, bring your Tiger pride, and cheer these runners on as they race for every inch and every second. 📣

We are proud of this team, proud of their effort, and excited to see what the rest of the season holds!
