✨ Save the Date for the upcoming Top to Bottom Hygiene Drive ✨
The Top to Bottom Hygiene Drive to support individuals and families right here in our local community! Something as simple as access to hygiene and cleaning essentials can make an immediate and positive impact.

🧼 We’re collecting donations of:
Personal hygiene items (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant)
Feminine hygiene products
Household cleaning supplies (disinfectants, sponges, laundry detergent, paper towels, etc.)

Every donation helps promote dignity, health, and comfort—because everyone deserves to feel clean and cared for, from top to bottom.

Looking for a creative pause in your week?

Join the Prevention Council for Art in Recovery, a casual, parent-led support group at the Recovery Center in Machias.
Create, connect, and talk about parenting and recovery with support from Prevention Council staff.

No art experience needed — just come as you are.

ELLSWORTH PLAYGROUP is back at a new location!

New location: Ellsworth Church of the Nazarene (445 High St. across from Super Shoes)
Day/time: Thursdays 10-11:30 AM

We’re excited to welcome families for play, connection, and community in a new space. Come join us for a relaxed, friendly time for little ones to play and grown-ups to connect. Indoor and outdoor spaces available.

Prevention starts with all of us — by supporting families, strengthening communities, and helping children grow up safe, supported, and cared for.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and Wear Blue Day is a simple way to show that our community cares about children and families.
