How about DSPS Fire Prevention Coordinator Gary Peck, showing great command of the strike zone while throwing out the first pitch at American Family Field!
The Milwaukee Brewers honored Gary, a Beaver Dam resident, as a Hometown Champion during last Friday's game, noting his more than 34 years in the fire service keeping Wisconsin safe.

Smiles all around as DSPS Secretary Dan Hereth signed the state's new electrical code today.
Thank you to our DSPS staff and the members of the Electrical Code Advisory Committee for your work. Thank you IBEW Local 494 - Milwaukee for your collaboration and for hosting the signing ceremony.
Wisconsin moves from the 2017 National Electrical Code to the 2023 NEC. The new code takes effect tomorrow.
