⚠️Flood Watch Issued for our area. Please check your surroundings and be mindful once the rain starts to fall. Avoid flood zones and keep yourself safe.⚠️

FLOOD WATCH MONDAY! A Flood Watch is in effect Monday afternoon through Monday evening for parts of the south-central Mountains of central New Mexico. Heavy rain and storms develop with the addition of daytime heating as Pacific energy interacts with Gulf moisture. This will lead to flash flooding, especially in and downstream of the South Fork, Seven Cabins and Salt burn scars. Rapid runoff may cause creeks and streams to rise quickly and flood low-lying and flood-prone areas. Please be aware of your surroundings and ready to move to higher ground
