Sock-tober is just 22 days away!

Please consider holding a Sock Drive for us at your church, work place, school, civic organization, store, the great part about a drive is, you can collect anywhere.

Each month the SVDP Healing Waters Shower Program provides approximately 16 showers a day (Sunday - Friday) we always assure that our guests get clean clothes to change into. A vital part of good health starts with your feet. During the "soggy" months we assure our guests have clean, dry socks when they come in from the rain or snow.
We can use socks for everyone; men, women & children. We are especially low right now on children's socks.

All People's Church is such a great partner to us not only do they help us to provide food to our guests stomachs & souls but they also support all the fun we help create for our guests who really feel God's love through our special events & meals all with APC's help.

This was Jennifer's first year organizing the food & volunteers for St. Monica's (who are rock stars and volunteer for block party and the Christmas Party each year) & she hit it out of the park. We are SO grateful for her organization and giving heart. Thank you Jennifer & the WHOLE crew at St. Monica's.

We are SO grateful for such a wonderful 2026 Hands of Christ Annual Block Party. The weather was God sent, our Executive Director, Debbie Duskey helped on the serving line as did our Vincentian Services, Maria Welz.

It's sad to think but winter is just around the corner & during the cold months, SVDP Meal Program partners with MKE Warming Rooms & Mke Street Angels, Inc. to assure that all of our unhoused friends have a warm meal & a bag lunch for breakfast in the morning.

This is where we need your help! From November 23, 2026 - March 31st, 2027 we will need 240 additional lunches per week. Making bag lunches is a GREAT activity for your:
- Scout Troop
- Church Group
- Civic Group
-School Group

We can help provide your group with needed items if you'd like to volunteer to come to our site and prepare lunches. We also happily accept premade lunches.

Please consider helping us out with this project OR making a even a small financial contribution. Thank you!

We will start accepting donations TODAY! The drive will cover both sites. Any gently used items to help get the kids back to school are appreciated.

We have kids sign up that range from size 4T - 14/16. Most of our kids this year are Male. Highly soughter after item - Roblox backpacks, we also need a Frozen, Moana & Camo backpack as well.

We appreciate ALL of your support for our kids!
