Use your eWIC card in self-checkout lanes at approved stores! In addition to Walmart, self-checkout lanes may be used at Copps, Meijer, Metro Mart, and Pick ‘n Save. eWIC cards should not be used at self-checkout in any other stores. Keep these tips in mind:
* Use the MyWIC app to select the approved foods in your benefit package to avoid having to remove foods.
* Smaller purchases are best.
* Complete a separate transaction for WIC foods. It is easier to find and remove any items not paid by WIC as expected. You do not have to pay for items they do not wish to purchase. The attendant can remove items not paid by WIC
* Ask for the assistance if there are any problems.

As COVID-19 cases continue to increase in Wisconsin, it’s important to 1) know where to get a COVID-19 test, and 2) how you’ll be notified of your test results, and 3) how to follow-up if you don’t get your results within five days.
