City of Milwaukee Health Department WIC The MHD WIC Program provides nutrition education, breastfeeding support, healthy foods and referrals.

WIC supports breastfeeding in the following ways!
* Greater variety and quantity of WIC foods
* Certification up to the first year of the baby’s life
* Breastfeeding education and support provided by trained breastfeeding experts and peer counselors
* Assistance with obtaining a breast pump, if needed

HOURS:
Clinics are closed for most major holidays: New Years Day, MLK Day, Good Friday, Memoria

l Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving day and the Friday after, observance or actual date of Christmas Eve Day, Christmas and New Years Eve Day. Clinics
