The Air Force First Sergeant Academy proudly welcomed Class 26-E as they began their journey toward becoming the next generation of First Sergeants.
Arriving on the heels of a busy and successful month for the the Academy, Class 26-E stepped into an environment built on excellence, professionalism, and a commitment to serving Airmen and Guardians. While every class follows the same curriculum, every class leaves with its own identity, and Class 26-E's story begins now.
During the first week, candidates began building the foundation of what it means to serve as a First Sergeant while also setting the standard for personal readiness. Congratulations to Liberty Flight, who earned the title Fit Flight by achieving the highest average score on the Air Force Physical Fitness Test. Their accomplishment reflects discipline, commitment, and example-setting expected of future First Sergeants.
Over the next four weeks, these candidates will be challenged to grow as leaders, communicators, mentors, and trusted advisors. They will build relationships, sharpen their decision-making skills, and gain the tools necessary to care for Airmen and families during both their best and most difficult moments.
The diamond is more than a symbol. It represents service, sacrifice, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to people. Class 26-E now begins the process of preparing to wear the symbol and all the responsibility that comes with it.
To the families, friends, and teammates supporting these candidates from afar, we want to thank you. Your encouragement and support are vital to their success.
Welcome to the Academy, Class 26-E!
