Leadership is measured not only by what we accomplish in uniform, but by the positive impact we leave in our communities.

As part of their commitment to service, Class 26-F partnered with Goodwyn Middle School to plan a campus beautification project. Through teamwork, planning, and a shared commitment to giving back, the class helped to create a more welcoming environment for students, faculty, and the surrounding community.

Class 26-F continues to build momentum as they completed Week Two at the First Sergeant Academy.

This week, candidates focused on developing the leadership skills that define exceptional First Sergeants. Through classroom instruction and practical application, they strengthened their ability to navigate complex situations they will encounter while serving as trusted advisors to commanders and advocates for Airmen and Guardians.

Outside the classroom, Class 26-F demonstrated that leadership extends beyond academics. Candidates competed in the Gunter Bowl PT Challenge, where Eagle Flight earned first place through outstanding teamwork, determination, and esprit de corps. Members of the class also participated in the Commandant's 5K Run and High-Intensity Training workout, reinforcing the importance of physical readiness and leading from the front.

As the course moves into its second half, Class 26-F continues to build stronger relationships, sharpen critical leadership skills, and embrace the responsibility that comes with wearing the diamond!

The Air Force First Sergeant Academy is proud to welcome Class 26-F as they begin their journey toward becoming the next generation of First Sergeants.

Over the next three weeks, these candidates will be challenged to grow as leaders, communicators, mentors, and trusted advisors. They will develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to care for Airmen and Guardians while serving alongside commanders across the globe.

The journey is already off to a strong start. Congratulations to Justice Flight for earning Fit Flight honors by achieving the highest average score on the Air Force Physical Fitness Test. Their performance reflects the discipline, commitment, and readiness expected of future First Sergeants.

The class also wrapped up the week by attending a social at a Montgomery Biscuits game, providing an opportunity to build relationships outside the classroom, strengthen teamwork, and enjoy time together before the pace of the course intensifies. These moments of connection are just as important as the lessons learned in the classroom and help build the trusted network that First Sergeants rely on throughout their careers.

To the families, friends, and teammates supporting Class 26-F, thank you for your encouragement and sacrifice. Your support plays an important role in the success of these future First Sergeants.

Welcome to the Academy, Class 26-F. We look forward to watching your journey unfold and celebrating all that you will accomplish!
