Skagit DVSAS was grateful to be part of the 2026 Concrete Youth Activity Day. We enjoyed connecting with youth, families, and community members, sharing resources, and showing support for a safer, healthier community.

Our advocates help with:
• Accessing food and clothing
• Support Groups
• Legal advocacy and court accompaniment
• Parenting support
• Connecting to additional community resources

Young people need support that is built for them, in spaces where they feel safe, respected, and heard.

At Skagit DVSAS, our services for youth include:
• Age-appropriate advocacy
• Separate advocates to protect confidentiality
• Support for youth ages 12 and older
• Referrals for younger children to specialized partners

Financial independence starts with understanding the basics, and learning can be fun for the whole family!

Join BECU this Saturday, July 25, from 2:00-4:00 PM for Family Financial Fun Day at their Burlington Financial Center. 1753 S. Burlington Blvd., Burlington

This free, family-friendly event is designed for elementary through middle school-aged youth, and the grown-ups who love them.

You'll find:

🎲 Games and hands-on activities

At SDVSAS, we know that financial knowledge can be a powerful tool for independence. At Skagit DVSAS, our work with youth focuses on prevention education, building safer futures before harm happens.

In the past year alone, our team connected with over 10,000 youth across Skagit County through schools and community programs like the Boys & Girls Clubs.

We focus on helping young people:
• Recognize warning signs
• Understand healthy relationships
• Set and respect personal boundaries
• Build confidence in communication
