The State Democratic Primary is heating up!
After our caucus last week, we heard from several candidates running for local offices this year.
In order of appearance:
Chris Boyd is running for US Rep, to challenge Rep. Jake Auchincloss
The Norfolk County DA is going to be a heated race with 6 Dem candidates!
Craig MacLellan, Djuna Perkins, Greg Connor, Adam Deitch, Jim Barakat, and Macy Lee all spoke on their platforms!
Colleen Brierly is seeking re-election for Registrar of Probate
State Representative Josh Tarsky will be seeking re-election as our MA State Rep!
And Lauren Soper is running for Needham School Board!

Caucus success! Needham Dems will send 23 delegates and 3 alternates headed to Worcester for the Massachusetts Democratic Party 2026 State Convention!

Massachusetts is one of just nine states without a press shield law, endangering the freedom of the press during these challenging times for our democracy. My Press Shield Law, which was reported favorably by the Judiciary Committee, will protect journalists, sources, and the free flow of information in Massachusetts by preventing reporters from being compelled to reveal sources.
