𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗩𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗬! ❤️

The 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 has a busy next eight or nine weeks ahead of us! But then again, when is JCHC ever NOT busy? 😂

We look forward to sharing conversations, meals, fellowship, and community with each and every one of you!

Our local Baptist churches are coming together for their 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, beginning at 𝟯:𝟯𝟬 𝗣𝗠 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 in Keene.

Let me tell you something — last year's gathering was absolutely, ridiculously AWESOME! And I'm looking so forward to this year's!

Come get you some 𝗚𝗼𝗱, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽!

The offering from this special gathering will benefit the Jessamine County Homeless Coalition, and we're incredibly grateful to these churches for their continued love and support.

𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗡 — 𝗪𝗘𝗗𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗗𝗔𝗬, 𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝟮𝟱𝗧𝗛!

It's our 𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿!

Once again, we're partnering with the wonderful folks at the 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆, serving from 𝟰:𝟬𝟬–𝟳:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠.

We're preparing to serve an estimated 𝟭,𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀 to our community this year!

Come volunteer if you can. Donate food if you're able to help us pull this off. Or simply come share a meal and some community with us!

We're just 𝟮𝟵–𝟯𝟬 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 away from needing our food donations to begin preparing 𝟭,𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀!

🦃 6th Annual FREE commUNITY Thanksgiving Dinner — WE NEED YOU!

❤️ 1,100 meals. Five volunteer shifts. More than 100 helping hands needed!

The Jessamine County Homeless Coalition is once again partnering with the Jessamine County Public Library to bring our neighbors together for Thanksgiving!

It takes an incredible amount of teamwork to make this happen, and we simply can't do it without our commUNITY!

Whether you're helping prepare meals, serving, delivering dinners, or cleaning up, there's a place for YOU! Volunteers are needed throughout the day, not all at once.

Good morning, Nicholasville,

Thank you for your generosity and continued support of our shelter. We kindly ask that mattresses and other furniture not be dropped off at the Jessamine County Homeless Coalition. Our storage space is very limited, and we are unable to accept these items. Fortunately, residents who are ready to move into their own housing have access to a number of organizations and individuals who help provide furnishings.

We lock our doors and draw the curtains at 9 pm. If you are donating after 9 pm, please knock on the door. Over the weekend, a mattress was left outside overnight and was soaked by rain. As a result, we now face an unexpected disposal expense that was not in our budget.

We do have security footage of the drop-off, but out of respect for those involved, one of whom appears to be a minor, we will not be sharing it publicly.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep our focus on serving our residents.

🍂 1,100 meals! That's our goal this Thanksgiving, and we can't do it without YOU!

The Jessamine County Homeless Coalition is once again partnering with the Jessamine County Public Library to bring our neighbors together for a FREE Thanksgiving dinner!

Our Thanksgiving Food Drive starts NOW! We're asking our commUNITY to help us gather the food and supplies needed to make 1,100 meals possible.

Our volunteer sign-up link is coming soon, but right now our priority is getting the food on the shelves so we can put meals on the tables!
