💙 Looking for a quieter museum experience?

Boston Children's Museum's Morningstar Access program offers children with disabilities, medical needs, and their families the opportunity to explore the museum during limited-capacity hours with fewer visitors.

Families can enjoy the museum in a more comfortable setting while accessing all of the fun, hands-on exhibits Boston Children's Museum has to offer.

🎒✏️ Back-to-school season is almost here!

Our friends at the Cape Cod Family Resource Center of Barnstable are hosting a Back-to-School Event tomorrow at the Hyannis Youth & Community Center (HYCC).

📚 Backpack & School Supply Pickup
🕛 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
📍 141 Bassett Lane, Hyannis

Backpacks and supplies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and no registration is required. Families are encouraged to bring their children so they can choose the backpack they like best!

Carol Viegas is our new Bilingual Family Support Specialist, and she's already such a warm presence for our families. Fluent in Portuguese, Carol is here to help families, especially those who speak Portuguese, feel seen, welcomed, and supported in our programs.

Carol provides critical bilingual program navigation and home visits for Portuguese speaking families, and ensures they have equitable access to our services as well as other resources. In her own words: "I am here to walk alongside families, offering support, connection, and guidance."
