Airmen with the flipped tires, threw axes, dragged dummies, raced across monkey bars, scaled walls, crossed balance beams and swung hammers during the 2026 💪🔷

By teaming up or flying solo, demonstrated their resilience and determination by completing these obstacles while running laps in between!

The 137th SOW is training ahead of the curve in support of the “Culture of Fitness” initiative. Airmen are increasing physical training exercises and are encouraged to use various fitness resources in their everyday lives to stay ⭐

Trained and equipped!

Air Commandos from the 137th Special Operations Wing instructed and attended the Air Force Special Operations Command tactical communicator course hosted at Will Rogers Air National Guard Base. The course brought together expeditionary communicators from across AFSOC. From setting up radios and programming satellite communication to practicing fieldwork, tactical communicators were trained on the latest AFSOC equipment to be mission-ready Air Commandos.

During Sentry South 26-2, 137th Special Operations Wing medical specialists worked with partners in the Mississippi National Guard to treat combat casualties during a simulated strike. After being flown into an auxiliary air field by UH-60 Black Hawks, the patients were moved to an TMT60 medical tent and treated to be in a stable condition.

Always Remember.

On April 19, 1995, the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building forever changed Oklahoma and its people. Among many of the first responders were Oklahoma Guardsmen who assisted in the rescue and recovery process. and thank all who served and volunteered to help during that tragic time. It was their efforts that helped forge the that is known today.

💜April is the month of the Military child! 💜

During April drill, the 137th Special Operations Wing celebrated military kids by letting them take on the Diamond Fitness Challenge. This course was designed to test the mental and physical toughness of service members and the kiddos were up to the challenge.

Month of the military child is dedicated to recognizing the unique sacrifices that children of service members have to make every year. It gives us a time to give back to them and celebrate the resilience they show when the nation calls.

Train like you fight 💪

Air Commandos with the 137th Special Operations Wing participated in exercise Sentry South 26-2 in Gulfport, Mississippi. The exercise consisted of more than 1,100 participants from U.S. active duty, Reserve, National Guard and international military forces. The exercise focused on major combat operations and joint maritime opportunities in a contested or degraded operational environment.

Outstanding Noncommissioned Officer of the Year- Tech. Sgt. Johnathan Earp
Earp has served in multiple intelligence roles and supported multinational training
exercises in Korea and Japan, playing a key role in joint and coalition
SOF integration.

Outstanding Senior NCO of the Year- Senior Master Sgt. Kimberly Dishon
Dishon has deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom,
Spartan Shield and Inherent Resolve. She previously served as
command traffic manager at the National Guard Bureau, supporting
more than 85 ANG flying wings.

Outstanding Civilian of the Year- Kristen Guffy, retired Army Chief Warrant Officer
Ms. Guffy serves as the logistician and unit deployment manager for the 205th Engineering Installations Squadron,
ensuring Airmen are equipped and deployment-ready for missions worldwide.
