Come join our team! C.C. Mellor Library is looking for a cleaning professional to ensure that our library is a vibrant and welcoming place for our community.

This opportunity would require a 3x a week cleaning schedule during hours that the library is not open, approximately 8-10 hours per week. Pay is 16.00 an hour.

There's just ONE WEEK until our Adopt-a-Book event. Do you have your tickets yet? You can purchase tickets at either CCM location or on our website. Tickets are just $10 in advance and will be $20 if purchased at the door.

CCM Edgewood will be closing at 1 p.m. on September 11 so that staff can prepare for the event. We hope to see you there!

Library programs in the Koenig Field House are CANCELED Wednesday and Thursday, 9/2 and 9/3, due to the heat advisory and rising temperatures. CCM Edgewood and CCM Forest Hills will be open normal hours if you need to cool off in air conditioning.

Did you buy your Adopt-a-Book tickets yet? We're just two weeks away! Join us on September 11 at 6 p.m. for a whimsical wonderland evening in the library.

Tickets are available now on our website AND both CCM branches; they are $10 in advance or $20 at the door.

Browse books to help us fill our new shelves after our renovation, all while you nibble on delicious snacks and enjoy a b**r or glass of w**e! All proceeds go to the library.

We’ll have our adoptable book titles on display so you can browse until you find one that you love. Then, you can “adopt” it. There is a flat “adoption” fee of $30 per book.

Once you “adopt,” we’ll commemorate your contribution to our collection with a special bookplate. Your name will be displayed inside the front cover of the book, and you can choose to honor or remember a special loved one with your gift.

Perhaps best of all, since it’s Love Your Library month, any money you spend helping to add to our collection will help us to unlock matching funds thanks to the Jack Buncher Foundation.
