My name is Abby Williams. I am student midwife working in the Prairie du Chien area. If you are looking for childbirth classes please check out my website.

I have been a doula for 9 years and taught childbirth education for 7 years. I am now in midwifery school full time with the end goal to provide community midwifery in Prairie du Chien, WI and the surrounding areas.

Peer review last night! I’m surrounded by incredible midwives, what a blessing!!! I know not everyone has that privilege. I met someone in the same phase of the PEP process as me, I put on my name tag I was a student and she said “You’re not a student anymore! You’re just not a licensed midwife yet!” I still consider myself a student but I loved starting to re think where I am. We also had a CNM from Vernon Memorial and it was a pleasure to hear her side of things in the hospital and how she really wants a community of midwifery, collaborative care! And we had someone who works with special needs children in the plain community, it was very enlightening and educational to have her there. A great meeting overall!

Made it to Perk Up Coffee Co first official day after an exciting birth. Everyone happy and healthy! I loved collaborating with Trillium Midwifery Services and being their student for the day! 🥰🩷

Twins I’ve attended over the years: all have been boys! First set I assisted, second was for a doula client, and third as primary student.

Two new humans entered the world! Baby A arrived before I got there, I got to catch baby B! From first ctx to both babies born was one hour.
