Rockport Maine Fire Department Rockport Fire Department consists of 1 Full time Fire Chief and 29 Volunteer/Call Firefighters.

Additionally, 4 full time FF/EMTs and 4 full time Paramedics staff our Rescue 25 and West Rockport Station, 24 hours a day on a rotating schedule. Drill- 1st Thursday of every month 6:00pm October-April
7:00pm May-September

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Woodbury, Assistant Chief of the Searsmont Fire Department. Chief Woodbury passed away this morning as a result of injuries sustained during the Robbins Lumber Fire. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family, friends, fellow firefighters, and all who knew and served alongside him.

The son of two Rockport Paramedics was spotted swiping a fresh box of donuts from Rescue 25 at the 🍩Rockport Donut Festival 🍩 this morning!

Unfortunately, he made a quick getaway on foot, leaving us in the dust!

We suspect he might be collaborating with the 👮‍♀️Rockport Maine Police Department👮‍♀️as part of their “Donut Investigation Team”.

If you see this young man, approach with caution as he may have sticky donut glaze fingers and a chocolate icing mustache!
