San Luis Obispo Regional Transit Authority (RTA) SLO Regional Transit Authority is a county-wide public transit company.

The San Luis Obispo Regional Transit Authority (RTA) provides intercommunity public transportation. RTA's service area includes all of San Luis Obispo County and extends into Santa Barbara County to the south. RTA provides regional fixed-route service (RTA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) complementary paratransit service (Runabout), which includes Dialysis Transportation. RTA also overs

ees the administration of South County Area Transit (SCAT) which operates in the Five Cities area between Shell Beach, Pismo Beach, Grover Beach, Oceano and Arroyo Grande. RTA is a JPA (Joint Powers Authority) in San Luis Obispo County, that operates bus service which connects cities throughout San Luis Obispo County (and beyond) including Arroyo Grande, Atascadero, Grover Beach, Morro Bay, Paso Robles, Pismo Beach, San Luis Obispo and more.

Always the best news to post is when a new bus operator graduates from training. Here is Max our newest driver! It takes about six (paid!) weeks of training to be able to drive that big ol' 40 foot bus around the County. Congratulations Max and we'll see you on the road.

Today is the first day of the Avila Trolley running for the summer. I know it doesn't feel like summer today, but we can't wait for that. Avila's Friday Farmers Market is starting and we're ready to have a good time in Avila. Skip the parking and ride the trolley there for free!
