Free conference for New Mexico families: The Exceptional Students, Empowered Families Conference is Friday, June 26, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Berna Facio Professional Development Center in Albuquerque.

Built for families of children with low-incidence disabilities, including deaf, hard of hearing, blind, visually impaired, deaf-blind, and autistic. Food and childcare provided. Spots are open, register today at the link in the first comment.

Need help understanding the DDSD waiver allocation process or available waiver programs?

Join the New Mexico Health Care Authority Developmental Disabilities Supports Division for virtual Allocation Office Hours. Beginning May 26, staff will be available to answer questions, provide guidance, and share information about DD and Mi Via Waivers and available supports and services.

SNAP rules changed on January 1, 2026.
Adults ages 18–64 who do not have an exception must now complete 80 activity hours of work, volunteer, or qualifying job training programs each month to keep SNAP benefits. Hours from different activities can be combined to total the requirement of 80 activity hours!

Junio es el Mes de la Salud Masculina, un momento para priorizar la salud y el bienestar en todas las etapas de la vida. En todo Nuevo México, muchos hombres enfrentan barreras para acceder a la atención médica, y la Autoridad de Atención Médica trabaja para mejorar el acceso a servicios y apoyos en todo el estado.

La atención preventiva desempeña un papel importante en la salud a largo plazo. Los chequeos regulares, las pruebas de detección recomendadas, la actividad física y el cuidado de la salud mental pueden ayudar a prevenir problemas de salud graves y apoyar el bienestar general. Hable con su proveedor de atención médica sobre la atención que es adecuada para usted.
