πŸ’œ CHECK ON YOUR STRONG FRIENDS. πŸ’œ
The ones who always show up.
The ones who make everyone laugh.
The ones who say, β€œI’m fine.”
The ones who never ask for help.
Sometimes the strongest people are carrying the heaviest things in silence.
Check in. Listen. Stay connected.
You never know how much one simple β€œAre you really okay?” might mean.
September is Su***de Prevention Month.
If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988.
πŸ’œ Be kind. Be present. Be the reason someone feels less alone today.

Someone can smile and still be struggling.
Someone can show up every day and still feel hopeless.
Someone can seem strong and still need support.

Check on your people. Then check again.

πŸ’œ SEPTEMBER IS SU***DE PREVENTION MONTH πŸ’œ

At the Community Intervention Center (CIC), we want everyone in our community to hear this message:

You matter. Your life matters. And you do not have to face difficult moments alone.

Sometimes the people who are struggling the most are the ones who have become very good at hiding it. A simple conversation, a kind word, or taking the time to truly listen can make a difference.

Throughout Su***de Prevention Month, we encourage everyone to:

πŸ’œ Check in on the people around you.
πŸ’œ Listen without judgment.
πŸ’œ Take talk of su***de seriously.
πŸ’œ Remind people that asking for help is a sign of strength.
πŸ’œ Be kindβ€”you never know what someone may be carrying.

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health or su***de crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

At CIC, our doors are open to people who need a safe, welcoming place, connection to resources, or simply someone who will listen.

Hope can begin with one conversation.
Be the person who starts it. πŸ’œ

πŸ’œ September is Su***de Awareness & Prevention Month πŸ’œ
At the Community Intervention Center, we want you to know: You matter. You deserve support. You do not have to face difficult moments alone.
Sometimes the pain someone carries isn’t visible. Check in on the people around you, listen without judgment, and make room for honest conversations. A simple β€œHow are you really doing?” can open the door to support.
If you’re struggling, speak with a CIC staff member. We’re here to listen and help connect you with resources.
πŸ“ž Call or text 988 for free, confidential support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can reach out for yourself or someone you’re concerned about.
Together, we can build a community where asking for help is met with compassion. πŸ’œ
