We wrapped up a fantastic couple of days at the Florida City County Management Association (FCCMA) Annual Conference in Orlando!

Sean Morgan and Rob Tovey spoke with city and county managers about the challenges they are facing with their extra duty programs, and shared how EDS has a fully customized solution for municipalities to solve those challenges, while making life easier for the public safety agencies they support.

Congratulations to our booth raffle winner, Town of Eatonville, FL Mayor Ruthi Critton!

Thank you to the FCCMA and to everyone who stopped by our booth!

It's been a busy few days for the EDS team, and we wouldn't have it any other way! The EDS team has been busy connecting with law enforcement leaders from Pennsylvania to Wisconsin!

▪️Ricky Braen attended the Western PA FBINAA Nemacolin Woodlands Retrainer in Farmington, PA.

▪️Bob Komarek and Shannon Trump attended the WI FBINAA 75th Anniversary Annual Retrainer in Minocqua, WI.

A major highlight at both events? Getting to spend time with the one and only Paul Butler — leadership speaker, community champion, and a true friend of Extra Duty Solutions. Paul, we're always grateful for your support and partnership!

These retrainers are a wonderful reminder of the strength and camaraderie within the law enforcement community.

Extra Duty Solutions is thrilled to welcome Michael Nark as our new Chief Executive Officer. Michael is a proven technology executive with more than 30 years of experience — most recently as President & CEO of Utility, Inc., where he served law enforcement agencies and first responders nationwide.

Our founder, Rich Milliman — who built EDS from the ground up in 2015 and established an entirely new market for public safety administration — will move into the role of Chairman of the Board, ensuring his founding vision and deep agency relationships continue to guide our direction.

This is an incredible milestone for EDS and the 350+ public safety agencies across 30+ states that trust us every day. We can’t wait for what’s ahead!

Thank you, !

Sean Morgan, Shannon Trump, and Patrick Walther from EDS enjoyed connecting face-to-face with Chiefs, Command Staff, and law enforcement leaders from across the globe in Fort Worth, TX this week.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to share your challenges and your time. Every conversation reinforced what we know: Departments need a trusted partner, not more administrative burden, and that's exactly what EDS delivers. Full-service extra duty program administration, at zero cost to your agency.

Congratulations to Captain Steven Mac of the Terrell Police Department, TX, our booth raffle winner!

We’re proud to recognize Officer Frank Stefano from the Oradell Police Department in NJ for his incredible actions that helped save a hockey goalie’s life at the Ice House in Hackensack, NJ.

While off duty, Officer Stefano immediately sprang into action when a player collapsed on the ice, performing CPR and using an AED — not once, but twice — until first responders arrived. His calm leadership, quick thinking, and dedication to serving others made all the difference.

For his extraordinary response, Extra Duty Solutions honored him with the Extra Duty Hero Award.

Thank you, Officer Stefano, for reminding us what courage, training, and selfless service look like both on and off the clock.

That's a wrap on the WASPC (Washington Association of Sheriffs & Police Chiefs) Spring Expo in Spokane!

Mark Bruce and Shannon Trump had a wonderful time connecting with Chiefs, Sheriffs, and Command staff from across Washington state. Law enforcement leaders are juggling more than ever, and managing an extra duty program shouldn't add to that burden.

We'd also like to congratulate our raffle winner: Washington State Patrol Lieutenant Nick Jennings, who took home a Symbol Arts Challenge Coin Set.

Thank you to WASPC for a great event, and to everyone who stopped by our booth!

This week, National Police Week, we stand with law enforcement.

National Police Week is our opportunity as a nation to remember those who gave their lives in service, and to honor the men and women in blue who put themselves in harm's way to keep our communities safe.

At Extra Duty Solutions, supporting law enforcement isn't just what we do — it's why we do it. We are honored to work alongside agencies across the country and are deeply grateful for the trust you place in us.

We will never forget those we have lost.
