Join the Summer Reading Challenge! Come to the library to sign up. All youth get a free book when they register. Adults win a free book when they read one book. Community members of all ages can earn entries toward grand prize drawings by reading and doing activities all summer long.

📣 UPDATE! 📣

At its June 10 meeting the School Board voted to approve union contracts that created a few adjustments to the 2024-25 Academic Calendar.

These adjustments apply to all grade levels.

What this means for families:
▪️No school Friday, October 11 for an in-service day.
▪️Changes to early release days:
▫️ Sept. 20 is a full day; Sept. 27 is an early release day.
▫️ January 10 is now a full day.
▫️ Early release days in May are now May 9 and May 23.

The Hope Project is offering free tickets to all SPS students for this Thursday of the NCAA Track & Field Championships. Let's help pack the stadium and show support for track and field!

▪ Thursday, June 6
▪ 5 p.m. at tent outside south gate at Hayward Field
▪ All SPS students receive three tickets.
▪ First 100 kids receive a free food voucher.
▪ First 500 kids receive a free Oregon Ducks t-shirt.

Page students and staff were treated to an amazing performance this morning!

The Dema African Performance Ensemble from the University of Oregon performed for Page Elementary today! They represent different ethnic groups and cultures in Ghana and Guinea in West Africa.

Dema shared their music with us through dancing, singing, drumming and storytelling!!

A huge thank you to our very own Mrs. Wagner for bringing this incredible opportunity to our students!

Today our Green House students had their House Party! They earned the most house points for the month of May!

The Page Annual 5th-grade Kickball Game was a huge success! The teams tied! Our 5th graders demonstrated sportsmanship all throughout the game. Our other students came out to cheer them on! 🎉🎉🎉 today was another great day to be a Page Panther!

There is no school for all students and the District office will be closed.

Memorial Day is a day for honoring the U.S. military personnel who have died while serving in the armed forces.

🗓 All students will return to school either September 4 or 5, depending on grade level. Early release days will continue to be held on specific Fridays throughout the year.

🦃 The 2024-25 calendar includes a change to the week of Thanksgiving for elementary schools.

📌 Kindergartners begin the school year on a “staggered start." Schools will reach out to enrolled families with more details as the school year draws closer.

Today was a FUN day at Page! We celebrated our top lap winners and earners from our recent Jog-A-Thon! Way to go Mia and Elliott for running the most laps! Our top earner was Demetrius!! Our students earned $5,937.52!!!🎉 Thank you to all who donated and supported their students in collecting donations!

We also had our May House Assembly! Blue House won the game (kinders stuck sticky notes on staff) and the Green House won the House Party!!! Page is the place to be! 🎉

In response to parent feedback, we've streamlined our school supply lists and are making them available now, so you'll have all summer to shop and find the best deals. ☀️

Items and brands listed are suggestions and families need only buy the items and brands that comfortably fit their budget.

▪️All elementary school grades have the same list across all schools.
▪️Elementary supplies will be pooled for use by the school community; please only label those items indicated on the school supply list.
▪️Middle school supply lists are made up of general supply items; particular items may be requested from teachers at the start of the school year.
▪️High schools will reach out to families with supply list requests.

We've partnered with TeacherLists for convenient one-click online shopping, or the option to print or use the online checklist to do your shopping in-store.
