Check us out downtown at Boeschenstein park tomorrow evening from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Garmin kick-off event! We are partnering again with Toledo Mindfulness Institute to provide accessibility for their Realign event!

As we come to the close of Direct Support Professionals Recognition Week, we want to take one more opportunity to say THANK YOU to the incredible DSPs who make such a difference every single day.

This week has been about celebrating you, recognizing you, and reminding you just how much you mean to the people we serve.

This message is directly for you!

The work you do isn't always easy. It requires patience, compassion, dedication, flexibility, and a willingness to show up every day ready to make a difference. You support, encourage, listen, advocate, celebrate the victories, and stand beside our friends through the challenges.

We hope our celebrations this week helped show how much we value you. We were proud to send four of our DSPs to a special appreciation event, and we celebrated here at Manahan with a full catered meal, door prizes, gifts, snacks, and plenty of well-deserved appreciation.

No meal, gift, or celebration could ever fully express our gratitude for everything you do. Your dedication is seen, your work is valued, and the impact you make is felt every single day. Every single joyous photo we post here on social media shows smiling faces and full hearts. YOU are responsible for that and it is not possivble without you!

Manahan’s Fall Festival & Trunk-or-Treat is right around the corner, and this year we’re making it bigger, more festive, and more fun than ever! Mark your calendars and bring the whole family for an afternoon of fall fun, community, and Halloween spirit at Manahan!

There will be something for everyone, including:
- Live music
- Food trucks and other vendors
- Family games & activities
- And, of course… the Trunk-or-Treat path!

Summer Camp has arrived! And it has been a tremendous hit so far. We've only completed two days so far but the amount of fun we've had has been tremendous. We can't wait to share more of the things we did but you'll have to wait just a bit longer!

In our world of care, we have reached an incredibly important week. This is Direct Support Professionals Recognition Week. It is an opportunity to celebrate the great works that DSPs do every single day. They make it look incredibly easy, but the responsibility that they assume every time they clock in makes an incredible impact for the friends that live with us here at Manahan.

We are so incredibly blessed to have fantastic people to rely on to assume that responsibility. It is noticeable anytime you meet any of our individuals. You see genuine smiles, affection, and positive spirit that they wear and it is largely because of our fantastic DSPs.

Gifts, kind words, and shared sentiments could never be enough to repay them for what they do, but we sure can try. Join us this week as we share our efforts to show them thanks!

You also don't have to miss out on these festivities either! Be sure to send our DSPs or other DSPs in your life some love and thanks!
