Today we celebrate a true trailblazer — the first African American woman in the Kansas Senate and the first Black Assistant Minority Leader in Senate history. She didn't just break barriers; she held the door open behind her.

⏰ ADVANCE VOTING ends MONDAY, AUGUST 3 at NOON at the Shawnee County Election Office (SW Van Buren & SW Croix). If you want to vote early in person, don't wait!

📅 ELECTION DAY is TUESDAY, AUGUST 4. All polling locations will be open 7 AM – 7 PM. Find your polling place before you go!

✉️ STILL HOLDING A MAIL BALLOT? Don't put it in the mailbox — hand-deliver it instead:
➡️ Drop it at the staffed drop box on the north side of the Shawnee County Election Office, OR
