Housing, groceries, health care — the things folks in this community actually talk about. Last week Don Coover, Democratic candidate for Kansas' 2nd District, came to southeast Topeka and sat down with the team at SENT to hear it firsthand. Showing up counts, especially where people are at.

I recently had the opportunity to tour SENT, a non-profit organization focused on taking a grassroots and holistic approach to supporting under-resourced neigborhoods in Shawnee County.

🎉 Congratulations to our primary winners! Your hard work, faith, and love for Kansas carried you across the finish line — and we're ready to stand with you all the way to November 3.

And to every candidate who placed their name on the ballot: thank you. It takes courage to step forward and serve. Win or lose, you strengthened our democracy, and our community is better because you ran. 💙

Forward together, Kansas. ✊🏾

Happy Birthday, Senator Oletha Faust-Goudeau! 🎉🎂

Today we celebrate a true trailblazer — the first African American woman in the Kansas Senate and the first Black Assistant Minority Leader in Senate history. She didn't just break barriers; she held the door open behind her.

Thank you for your leadership and your example. From all of us at AADC of SNCO — we hope your day is filled with joy and all the love you've poured into others coming right back to you. 💜

How does a Democrat pass nearly 20 bills in a Republican-controlled Kansas Senate?
Sen. Oletha Faust-Goudeau says the answer isn't politics—it's relationships, preparation and finding common ground.

We didn't make a graphic today. You know why? Because YOU'RE the graphic, Shawnee County. 📸

Polls close at 7 PM — and if you're in line by 7, you still vote. Flip that ballot and VOTE NO on the amendment. You have two more hours till polls close for the day.

Then drop your voting day pic in the comments. Show us that sticker. 👇

Now let's carry that energy to the polls. The primary is THIS Tuesday, August 4. Make your plan, check your polling place, and bring a neighbor. 🗳️
