Gore Place Historic estate, working farm, and 1806 Mansion museum. Visit the grounds between dawn to dusk, book a Mansion tour, attend a program, or book a private event.

Welcome to the Gore Place page. Gore Place is the Federal period estate of Rebecca and Christopher Gore. The estate includes the beautiful 1806 Mansion, a 1793 Carriage House and a farm with period breeds of sheep and chickens. Gore Place is the site of the popular annual Sheepshearing Festival, hosts concerts, holiday teas and family events. The grounds are open to the public year-round, and tours are available Monday through Saturday and selected Friday evenings.

We still have a few spots left for a cozy Cookie Decorating Workshop at Gore Place on Saturday, December 12 from 1-3 p.m. Create a set of seasonal cookies using royal icing. Led by Sweet from Scratch bakery. Cookies & icing are celiac-safe and dairy free. $55. Members: $50, Card to Culture: $20.

Thank you Belmont Public Library for purchasing a library pass to Gore Place for your patrons! Library patrons can reserve the pass, which admits up to 2 adults and 2 children to a daytime Mansion tour at a reduced rate of $5 per adult, children free. Families can also check out a take-a-walk backpack at a reduced rate. Reserve your library pass, then book a tour online or walk-in on any Monday, Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday at 11, 12, or 1.
