Gore Place Historic estate, working farm, and 1806 Mansion museum. Visit the grounds between dawn to dusk, book a Mansion tour, attend a program, or book a private event.

Welcome to the Gore Place page. Gore Place is the Federal period estate of Rebecca and Christopher Gore. The estate includes the beautiful 1806 Mansion, a 1793 Carriage House and a farm with period breeds of sheep and chickens. Gore Place is the site of the popular annual Sheepshearing Festival, hosts concerts, holiday teas and family events. The grounds are open to the public year-round, and tours are available Monday through Saturday and selected Friday evenings.

New puppet-based class this fall with Good News Gus !! Join us for an 8-week fall class for preschoolers ages 3-5. Class meets Thursdays at 10 a.m. September 17-November 5. At Little Movers & Makers, children will make their own puppets and learn hand-eye coordination, collaborate on a weekly project, and sing plenty of songs. This interactive class will build new skills each week. $120 for the 8 week session, Members: $100.
