Annually released, government-owned autonomous software plays key role in student competition - US Army | Ground Vehicle Systems Center

GVSC’s common robotics software system was on display at the 28th annual Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition at Oakland University earlier this month. Called the Robotic Technology Kernel (RTK), the government-owned software was the common thread in autonomous vehicles designed and built by students from around the country for the GVSC-hosted competition.

Army Robotics Efforts Bolstered With Project Origin Live Fire

U.S. Army technology and capability development happens faster, more efficiently, and yields a more effective end result when #Soldiers are involved throughout the process.

With the Next Generation Combat Vehicle CFT, U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command GVSC engineers and developers brought back Soldiers from the 3rd Infantry Division to exercise the #ProjectOrigin platform, a surrogate for the robotic combat vehicles, part of the Next Generation Combat Vehicles portfolio.
