Join us in celebrating one year at our COA’s new home! Whether you’ve been here every week or have been curious but haven’t made it in yet, this is the perfect opportunity to see everything our Community Center has to offer. Come try sample fitness classes, drop in for cards, mahjong, or pingpong, and browse information about the many services and resources available to Wayland residents. Jane Barnes, a reenactor and former National Park Service ranger, will share her knowledge about the American Revolution through the life of someone who was living on the fringes of society, struggling to make ends meet. Jane Mecom was born in Boston in 1712 and experienced the changing political climate while enduring turmoil in her personal life, including living in poverty, her husband’s death, and the loss of her children. This program is sponsored by Wayland Rev250.
