Village of Clearview, WV Clearview is a municipality on the northwest end of Ohio County, WV which overlooks the Ohio River.

Clearview, WV is a small community of approximately 600 residents in Ohio County. Clearview is located in the Northern Panhandle region of West Virginia. Clearview is approximately seven miles north of Wheeling, WV and 12 miles south of Wellsburg, WV.

FYI:
There is a large tree down blocking part of the roadway on Clearview Ave/Riley Hill coming up from Warwood. Traffic can still get through but please use extra caution in this area. DOH has already been notified for removal.

⚠️ Weather Alert for Wheeling / Ohio County – Wednesday, May 27 ⚠️

The National Weather Service Pittsburgh has placed the Wheeling area under a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 4) for excessive rainfall and localized flash flooding from Tuesday night through Wednesday afternoon. Repeated rounds of showers and thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall, especially on already saturated ground, leading to localized flooding of roads, poor drainage areas, creeks, and small streams.

📍 Wheeling and Ohio County are near the higher concern area.
🚗 Use caution if traveling and never drive through flooded roadways. Stay weather aware and monitor for updated forecasts and any flood advisories or warnings.
