JUNE MOBILE UNIT SCHEDULE

The Wheeling Health Right Mobile Unit will be visiting communities throughout the Ohio Valley this June to help connect residents with care and services closer to home.

June Schedule:

• June 9 - Shepherd’s Pantry - Marshall County
• June 10 - Firehouse - Dallas Pike
• June 11 - Moundsville Pharmacy - Marshall County
• June 16 - St. Mark’s Lutheran Church - Wheeling, WV
• June 17 - House of the Carpenter - Wheeling, WV
• June 18 - Hildar - Wheeling, WV
• June 22 - Catholic Charities Neighborhood Center - Dental Screening
• June 23 - WVNCC - New Martinsville
• June 25 - Wetzel County Pharmacy

Are you taking care of a relative's child? You are a kinship caregiver, and we have a tool just for you!
It's called Kinship Connector, and it helps figure out what kind of legal custody agreement is right for you in your specific situation. You don't want to go too long without getting your custody situation figured out. This is a great way to get started!

Our end of year Ready, Set, School karaoke extravaganza was a blast! Thank you to the families who participated and for the meaningful partnerships that make this program possible. Did we end with Country Roads? Yes we did!

We'd love to see you next Thursday for a community gathering at Valley Grove Volunteer Fire Department! RSVP is requested, as we will be providing dinner. Children will have their own group and learn about strategies for handling stress. Bring a friend and we'll see you there.

Tonight was our season end family night celebration with our Girls on Fire team!
We are so proud of all of the girls and appreciative to all the coaches who made this season possible.
Special shout out to Ohio County Schools for providing transportation and snacks each Wednesday for practice!

Mark your calendars and stop by Thursday June 11! Free and open to the public. We'll be in the parking lot of the Ohio County DoHS office with more than 40 vendors to meet!

Do you work or volunteer with children in WV?
This is a companion training to mandated reporting which provides tools to differentiate poverty from neglect and understanding how to make appropriate referrals for families who need support. If you are a mandated reporter and have not yet had this workshop, you are encouraged to attend. This is a lunch and learn opportunity with STARs and Social Work credits as well as lunch provided. RSVP is required my June 1.
