For the next few weeks, Community House will be using Uniting Country SA Gambling Harm coffee cups to help raise awareness of the support available for people experiencing gambling-related harm.
Sometimes the first step towards getting help starts with something as simple as sharing a cuppa and having a conversation. Community House is a welcoming place where people can connect with others in a safe, supportive environment.
If gambling is becoming difficult to manage, you don’t have to face it alone. Uniting Country SA has a dedicated Gambling Help Practitioner who provides free, confidential support to individuals and families affected by gambling harm.
Drop in for a cuppa, a chat, and a connection. Sometimes one conversation can make all the difference. ☀️😉

You’re sleeping rough… homeless… don’t know where you’ll be on Census night
Come down and talk to some staff from the Australian Statistics Bureau and let them support you to fill out your form

Over the years, this team of rockstars have done so much more than bring people together to create beautiful artwork. They’ve created a welcoming space where people connect, build friendships, develop confidence and strengthen our community through creativity and inclusion in a calm space🌼
We’re incredibly excited to announce the “Community of Love” Art Exhibition, with proceeds from artwork sales proudly supporting Community House and helping us continue providing vital programs and services for our local community.
🗓 Opening Thursday 27th August at their shop in HARWILL COURT – a very special day as United We Made It celebrates their 6th birthday! 🎁
The exhibition will feature an inspiring collection of handcrafted artwork, each piece reflecting the talent, passion and heart of the creator. Unbelievable ….

For the month of July we cooked and provided community with 691meals…
Which when you work it out there is 23 working days in total for July … that works out 30 meals a day walking out the door
Which means we’ve spent a lot of time in the kitchen this week catching up
And green curry prawns are in the freezer
Thank you Limnos Fishing Pty Ltd , Venus Bay Prawns SA and Terry Paleologoudias
For donating a box of prawns to community…. I just loved peeling 5 kilos of prawns today 😜🤣🤣🤣

9am to 12pm at community house.
Australian Bureau of Statistics will be in community house providing information and collecting data for Census Australia, come join us, be a statistic and have a bacon and egg sanga with ABS 😁
