'Every love has its labyrinth. We twist and spiral among the mysteries of attraction, desire, and loss, working to navigate and negotiate our path. Within this moving about, we have to discern continually how much to give of ourselves to each particular relationship-friendship, family, lover. Always there are spaces that only the two who share the labyrinth know. In some sense, every love is secret. And yet love cries out to come into the light of day.' (Jan Richardson - In the Sanctuary of Women) Heart Labyrinth by Patchouli Music

The Soul Spiral does not lead away from the world.
It leads deeper into it.

Into root and bone.
Into raven cry and rain-dark stone.

Into the old remembering carried quietly beneath the noise of modern life.

Our ancestors knew that spirit does not sit above the earth.
It moves through it.

Through tree root, feather, ash, blood, silence and firelight.

The spiral is not a maze to escape.
It is a returning.

Each turning brings us closer to the living centre hidden beneath forgetting.

The place where the soul still speaks in the language of earth.

And if we walk slowly enough…
the old path begins to remember us too.

Join us at the Centennial Park labyrinth at 9am this Sunday, 3rd May for a group walk led by Jennifer Keeler-Milne. This walk will coincide with hundreds of walks taking place around the globe for World Labyrinth Day. Be part of this wave of peaceful intentions. Walking in community in this way, allows us to reflect and connect as we walk our individual paths together, reminding us how to simply be and let others be. To accept and flow around the eternal other in our lives is a tremendous good upon the earth. As Gandhi said, ‘There is no path to peace. Peace is the path.’ Sydney Labyrinth events are free and open to all. www.sydneylabyrinth.org
