Jigme Dorji Wangchuck Public Library was delighted to host a wonderful **Kamishibai storytelling performance** by **Shino Ebihara and her team**. Kamishibai, a traditional Japanese form of picture-storytelling, brought stories to life through engaging narration, illustrations, and lively performance.

The event provided an enjoyable and enriching experience for children and library visitors, encouraging a love for storytelling, reading, and cultural exchange. We sincerely appreciate **Shino Ebihara and her team** for sharing this beautiful art form and creating memorable moments for our young readers.

🌿📚 **The 5th Summer Programme Officially Begins!** 🇧🇹

The Department of Culture and Dzongkha Development (DCDD) officially launched the 5th Summer Programme today at its campus in Kawajangsa, Thimphu, under the theme "Engaging Youth in Living Heritage."

The programme has brought together enthusiastic students from across the country to explore and experience Bhutan's rich cultural heritage through hands-on learning in traditional arts, crafts, music, dance, calligraphy, language, manuscript conservation, and many other cultural activities.

The Department of Culture and Dzongkha Development is proud to support this meaningful initiative by organizing a "Book Fair" and promoting reading and lifelong learning among young participants. Through this collaborative effort, we hope to inspire the younger generation to appreciate, preserve, and carry forward Bhutan's unique cultural heritage.

We extend our warmest welcome to all participants and wish them a memorable, enjoyable, and enriching week of learning and discovery.
