Jamaica’s greatest wealth is in its people, creativity, culture and natural resources. In this episode, we explore how Jamaicans can help finance sustainable development by using resources wisely, saving and investing, improving productivity, formalizing businesses and protecting Brand Jamaica and our innovations.

On October 28, 2025, Jamaica experienced one of it's most challenging events when Hurricane Melissa made landfall leaving behind loss of life, livelihoods and property as well as trauma.

Yet, hope and the Jamaican will to not only overcome but triumph was on full display. The global reach of our partnerships and friendships along with the support of our diaspora brought a tide of support when it was needed most.

Let us continue to support those who are rebuilding their lives and participate in national development for a better future for all Jamaicans.

It is important to prioritise building stakeholder trust in data. Trust is a critical determinant of stakeholder perspectives on the fit or quality of data in meeting our evidence needs.

Trust and data fit determine relevance and our willingness to use data and information.

Today, we honour the courage, sacrifice and service that have shaped our nation. 🇯🇲💛💚🖤

On National Heroes Day, we pay tribute to Jamaica’s National Heroes, whose vision and determination helped pave the way for the Jamaica we know today.

We also salute our everyday heroes — the healthcare workers, firefighters, security personnel, teachers, community leaders, volunteers and countless Jamaicans who serve, protect, uplift and help build our country each day. 👏🏽

Heroism takes many forms, but every act of service can help move Jamaica forward.
