This week, the Ministry of Culture & Internal Affairs has worked closely with South Pacific Community Connsultant Carla to assess the Civil Registry Office -MOCIA to "Digitalize" the Registry System. This is one of the priority works for the Ministry and looking forward to continue this work this year.

The meeting with the WYSER Consulting Firm BECA for the design of the new Women Youth Training Center under WYSER Project took place today with Hon. Minister Ota and his team from the Ministry, including technical experts from WIU -PMU. This is the first of many meetings this weeks with stakeholders. The RMI Ministry of Culture & Internal Affairs is the implementing ministry to oversee the works of this project and will ensure the design of the Training Center is catered to the needs of GRMI for Womrn and Youth in the country.

The stakeholders from the various ministries and local governments met today to address the steps forward in conducting a study " Early Union" which looks at early ages entering marriages or living together as spouces. The study which is sponsored by UNICEF in collaboration with MOCIA will kick off in June in Majuro and Ebeye, will provide datas enabling the GRMI to address the issues. . Komol Tata.

Successful Week -Women Youth Skills Empowerment Resilience WYSER Program kicked off this week with 6 months review of the Implementation phase, conduct a one day Workshop with stakeholders, and discuss next phase of the project. Kamolol to all Stakeholders who participated in the workshop to better understand the program and its goals, and at the same time to reccomend pathways to better this program to women and youth in the country .
