Shubh Diwali! 🪔✨

Your pēpī had a playlist for a fun wriggling activity right here at Flat Bush library to keep you busy during Labour Day 🎵 We also explored eye tracking and sensory play by feeling and touching natural materials, such as leaves. 🍃

Of course, we couldn’t finish without some bubbles! 🫧 The tamariki had practiced reaching, touching and popping the bubbles while also practising their hand-eye coordination and tracking the bubbles with their eyes.

Ngā mihi to you all that have joined us today, We hope to see everyone next session 🥳

🇳🇺Fakaalofa lahi atu 🇳🇺

To close off Niuean language week, our tamariki had a go at making Niuean Kahoa (necklace)

We had amazing turn out, fakaaue lahi to everyone who joined us today. We loved seeing all the creative and unique styles of Kahoa that you made for yourselves.

Through Kahoa making we can tell the tamariki worked on their patience while feeding each bead through the strings. Mahi tika ana whānau! 🤩🥳
