The activity is one of the flagship initiatives of the NYC aimed at promoting equality, inclusivity, social justice, and the protection of human rights, particularly for the LGBTQIA+ community and other marginalized sectors. Anchored on the principles of social inclusion and equity under the Philippine Youth Development Plan (PYDP), the event seeks to strengthen youth participation and advocacy for diversity, acceptance, and non-discrimination.

The celebration will feature various activities, including:

๐ŸŒˆ Kabataan, Kabaklaan, at Kalusugan (K*K) Stage โ€“ Youth Health & Satellite Stage;

โ€ŽThe national rollout was formally launched through simultaneous hybrid activities conducted across different regions of the country, bringing together youth leaders, local government units, Sangguniang Kabataan officials, and partner organizations.

โ€ŽAmong the participating youth organizations was the Libmanan Youth Press Club (LYPC), which joined the nationwide launch as part of its continuing engagement in youth development and capacity-building initiatives.
