Ambassador of Malaysia to Thailand Visit to the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), 1 July 2026

H.E. Datuk Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah, Ambassador of Malaysia to Thailand, visited the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) on 1 July 2026 to have a glimpse of AIT’s roles and functions in providing higher education to students around the world.

The visit provided an opportunity to explore collaboration in higher education, research, innovation, and capacity building. Discussions have focused on areas including artificial intelligence, climate change, sustainable infrastructure, agriculture, food security, and technology to support sustainable development.

H.E. Datuk Wan Zaidi also reaffirmed Malaysia’s commitment to strengthening partnerships that promote knowledge exchange, innovation, and human capital development.

The visit has been a catalyst to strengthen higher education cooperation between Malaysia and Thailand.

เอกอัครราชทูตมาเลเซียประจำประเทศไทยเยือนสถาบันเทคโนโลยีแห่งเอเชีย (AIT) 1 กรกฎาคม 2569

เมื่อวันที่ 1 กรกฎาคม 2569 ดาตุ๊ก วัน ไซดี วัน อับดุลลอฮ์เอกอัครราชทูตมาเลเซียประจำประเทศไทย ได้เดินทางเยือนสถาบันเทคโนโลยีแห่งเอเชีย (AIT) เพื่อเยี่ยมชมและรับฟังข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับบทบาทและภารกิจของสถาบันในการจัดการศึกษาระดับอุดมศึกษาให้แก่นักศึกษาจากทั่วทุกมุมโลก

การเยือนครั้งนี้เป็นโอกาสในการหารือและแสวงหาแนวทางความร่วมมือด้านการอุดมศึกษา การวิจัย นวัตกรรม และการเสริมสร้างศักยภาพ โดยการหารือมุ่งเน้นในประเด็นสำคัญ ได้แก่ ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) การเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ โครงสร้างพื้นฐานที่ยั่งยืน การเกษตร ความมั่นคงทางอาหาร และการประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยีเพื่อสนับสนุนการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน
ในโอกาสดังกล่าว ดาตุ๊ก วัน ไซดี ยังได้ยืนยันถึงความมุ่งมั่นของมาเลเซียในการเสริมสร้างความเป็นหุ้นส่วนที่ส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ การสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรม และการพัฒนาทุนมนุษย์

การเยือนครั้งนี้นับเป็นแรงขับเคลื่อนสำคัญในการส่งเสริมและกระชับความร่วมมือด้านการอุดมศึกษาระหว่างมาเลเซียและประเทศไทยให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น

PERMOHONAN UNDI POS KATEGORI 1B (LUAR NEGARA) BAGI PILIHAN RAYA UMUM (PRU) DEWAN NEGERI SEMBILAN KE-16

1. Susulan pembubaran Dewan Negeri Sembilan Ke-15 pada 5 Jun 2026, Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya Malaysia (SPR) ingin memaklumkan mengenai tatacara penting berhubung permohonan undi pos di luar negara bagi pelaksanaan Pilihan Raya Umum (PRU) Dewan Negeri Sembilan Ke-16.

2. Permohonan undi pos bagi semua kategori termasuk Kategori 1B (Luar Negara) bagi pelaksanaan PRU Dewan Negeri Sembilan Ke-16 telah mula dibuka pada 12 Jun 2026 (Jumaat) hingga 10 Julai 2026 (Jumaat).

3. Kelayakan permohonan undi pos Kategori 1B ini adalah tertakluk kepada syarat-syarat yang ditetapkan oleh SPR seperti berikut:

3.1 Merupakan seorang pemilih berdaftar yang mengundi di mana-mana Bahagian Pilihan Raya Negeri Sembilan; dan

3.2 Tinggal di luar negara.

4. Semua permohonan hendaklah dibuat secara dalam talian (online) melalui portal MySPR. Bagi tujuan ini, pemilih yang layak dan berhasrat mengundi secara pos hendaklah mendaftar akaun MySPR melalui pautan https://myspr.spr.gov.my.

FOREIGN POSTAL VOTE APPLICATION CATEGORY 1B FOR THE 16TH GENERAL ELECTION OF THE NEGERI SEMBILAN STATE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY

1. Following the dissolution of the 15th Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly on 5 June 2025, the Election Commission of Malaysia (EC) wishes to inform all Malaysian Citizens abroad on the key procedures regarding overseas postal voting application for the 16th General Election of the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly.

2. Application for postal voting in all categories, including Category 1B (Overseas), for the 16th Negeri Sembilan State Election has been opened on Friday, 12 June 2026 until Friday, 10 July 2026.

3. Applicants for this category are subjected to the following conditions:

3.1 Is a registered voter for any State Constituency in Negeri Sembilan; and

3.2 Residing outside Malaysia.

4. All application must be submitted online through the MySPR portal. Eligible voters intending to vote by post are required to register with MySPR account via the following link: https://myspr.spr.gov.my.

Scholarship Program by iCare Thailand Foundation, Wat Sa Kaeo, 13 June 2026

On 13 June 2026, as part of its annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the Embassy of Malaysia, led by H.E. Datuk Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah, Ambassador of Malaysia to Thailand, was honoured to revisit Wat Sa Kaeo Orphanage in Ang Thong Province. Together with its partners and supporters, the Embassy shared moments of joy and extended assistance to the children, reaffirming its commitment to community engagement and recognising the vital role of education in nurturing a brighter future for the younger generation.

เมื่อวันที่ 13 มิถุนายน 2569 ในฐานะส่วนหนึ่งของกิจกรรมรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม (CSR) ประจำปี สถานเอกอัครราชทูมาเลเซียประจำประเทศไทย นำโดย ดาตุ๊ก วัน ไซดี วัน อับดุลลอฮ์ เอกอัครราชทูตมาเลเซียประจำประเทศไทย รู้สึกเป็นเกียรติที่ได้กลับไปเยือนสถานสงเคราะห์เด็กวัดสระแก้ว จังหวัดอ่างทองอีกครั้ง

ในการนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ พร้อมด้วยพันธมิตรและผู้สนับสนุน ได้ร่วมแบ่งปันความสุขและมอบความช่วยเหลือแก่เด็ก ๆ ตลอดจนยืนยันถึงความมุ่งมั่นในการมีส่วนร่วมเพื่อพัฒนาชุมชน และตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของการศึกษาในฐานะรากฐานสำคัญในการสร้างอนาคตที่สดใสและยั่งยืนสำหรับเยาวชนรุ่นใหม่ต่อไป.
