🔬 The Czech Embassy was pleased to welcome depa – Digital Economy Promotion Agency for a discussion on opportunities to strengthen cooperation in Wellness Technology, MedTech, Biotechnology and Life Sciences.

🩺 The meeting explored opportunities to connect Czech expertise and solutions with Thailand’s digital health and wellness ecosystem, as well as potential cooperation in digital skills development and innovation.

💻 Representatives from the Royal Thai Embassy in Prague and CzechInvest also joined the discussion online, contributing to the exchange on potential connections between Czech and Thai partners.

💡 We look forward to building on this exchange and connecting Czech companies and institutions with relevant Thai partners.

[English Below] ⚡️ บริษัทด้านพลังงานและวิศวกรรมจากสาธารณรัฐเช็กสร้างความร่วมมือในประเทศไทย

เมื่อวันที่ 14–18 กันยายน 2569 CzechTrade Thailand ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของ CzechBusiness ได้นำคณะผู้แทนบริษัทด้านพลังงานและวิศวกรรมจากสาธารณรัฐเช็ก เข้าร่วมงาน Gastech 2026 กรุงเทพฯ ในวันที่ 14–17 กันยายนที่ผ่านมา และมีโอกาสประชุมกับหน่วยงานภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนในวันที่ 18 กันยายนอีกด้วย

โครงการนี้ไม่เพียงเป็นโอกาสในการนำเสนอเทคโนโลยีและโซลูชันจากสาธารณรัฐเช็ก แต่ยังสานต่อความสัมพันธ์ทางธุรกิจที่มีอยู่เดิม โดยบริษัทที่เข้าร่วมบางส่วนมีผลิตภัณฑ์และบริการที่จำหน่ายหรือใช้งานอยู่ในประเทศไทยแล้ว หรือมีพันธมิตรในประเทศไทย ซึ่งเป็นพื้นฐานสำคัญสำหรับการต่อยอดความร่วมมือในอนาคต

🏭 เมื่อวันที่ 16 กันยายน คณะผู้แทนได้เข้าประชุมกับการไฟฟ้าฝ่ายผลิตแห่งประเทศไทย (กฟผ.) โดยบริษัท ได้นำเสนอผลิตภัณฑ์และโซลูชัน พร้อมหารือถึงแนวทางการประยุกต์ใช้ในภาคพลังงานของไทย ได้แก่

* ⚙️ Wikov — ผู้ผลิตระบบเกียร์อุตสาหกรรม เฟือง และระบบขับเคลื่อน (gearboxes)
* 🔌 Innomotics — ผู้ผลิตมอเตอร์ไฟฟ้าและระบบขับเคลื่อนขนาดใหญ่ โดยมีฐานการผลิตในสาธารณรัฐเช็ก
* 🏗️ TES — ผู้ผลิตมอเตอร์ไฟฟ้า เครื่องกำเนิดไฟฟ้า และอุปกรณ์ด้านวิศวกรรมไฟฟ้าที่เกี่ยวข้อง

ในวันที่ 18 กันยายน คณะผู้แทนได้เดินทางไปพบหน่วยงานและบริษัทด้านพลังงานของไทย ได้แก่

* ⚡ การไฟฟ้าส่วนภูมิภาค (กฟภ.)
* 🔋 บริษัท โกลบอล เพาเวอร์ ซินเนอร์ยี่ จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ GPSC ในกลุ่ม ปตท.

บริษัทได้นำเสนอเทคโนโลยี หารือถึงความต้องการในปัจจุบันและอนาคต และสานต่อการหารือกับพันธมิตรสำคัญในภาคพลังงานของไทย

นอกจากนี้ หัวหน้าฝ่ายของ Economic & Commercial Section และผู้แทนจากสถานเอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐเช็กประจำประเทศไทย ได้เข้าร่วมการประชุมดังกล่าว เพื่อสนับสนุนการหารือและการเชื่อมโยงระหว่างบริษัทเช็กกับพันธมิตรในประเทศไทย

🤝 โครงการนี้เป็นอีกโอกาสในการ ต่อยอดความสัมพันธ์ที่มีอยู่ เสริมสร้างความร่วมมือทางธุรกิจระหว่างไทยและสาธารณรัฐเช็ก และสำรวจโอกาสใหม่ ๆ ในระยะยาว ในภาคพลังงานและวิศวกรรม

⚡️ Czech Energy Companies Strengthen Cooperation in Thailand

From 14–18 September 2026, CzechTrade Thailand, part of CzechBusiness, organised a programme in Thailand for a delegation of Czech energy and engineering companies. The delegation participated in Gastech 2026 in Bangkok from 14–17 September, followed by additional business and institutional meetings on 18 September.

The programme was not only an opportunity to introduce Czech technologies, but also to strengthen existing business relationships. Some participating companies already have products and services supplied in Thailand or work with local partners, providing a foundation for further cooperation.

🏭 On 16 September, the delegation visited the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), where the companies presented their solutions and discussed potential applications in Thailand’s power sector:

•⚙️ Wikov — industrial gearboxes, gears and drive systems
•🔌 Innomotics — electric motors and large drive systems, with manufacturing activities in the Czech Republic.
•🏗️ TES — manufacturing electric motors, generators and related power engineering equipment

On 18 September, the programme continued with visits to:

•⚡ Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA)
•🔋 Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), part of the PTT Group

The companies presented their technologies, discussed current and future needs, and continued dialogue with key Thai energy-sector partners.

The Head of the Economic & Commercial Section and a representative of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bangkok also participated in the meetings, supporting dialogue between the Czech companies and their Thai counterparts.

🤝 The programme provided an opportunity to build on established connections, strengthen Czech–Thai business relations, and explore new areas for long-term cooperation in the energy and engineering sectors.

On 16 August 2026, Deputy Head of Mission of the Czech Embassy, Mr. Viktor Michalík, visited Muang Khua in Phongsaly Province, where, in cooperation with Abundant Water, we are implementing the Access to Safe Drinking Water project.

Česká rozvojová agentura - CzechAid

The installed water filtration systems will provide access to safe drinking water for 9 schools and 4 healthcare facilities, helping to improve health, hygiene, and living conditions for local communities. This project demonstrates how practical and sustainable solutions can make a meaningful difference in people's daily lives.

We are grateful to all partners involved in making this initiative possible.

ในโอกาสนี้ ฯพณฯ นายปาเวล ปีเตล เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐเช็กประจำประเทศไทย ได้รับประทานรางวัล “ราชมงคลสรรเสริญ” ในฐานะบุคคลผู้มีผลงานและคุณูปการโดดเด่นด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรม

General His Royal Highness Prince Chalermsuk Yugala graciously presided over the presentation ceremony of the “Rajamangala Sarnsern Award 2026”, honouring individuals with outstanding contributions to culture, held at the Rajamangala Hall of มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี - Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) on 15th September 2026.

H.E. Mr. Pavel Pitel, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Kingdom of Thailand, was presented with the “Rajamangala Sarnsern Award” in recognition of his outstanding contributions to arts and culture.

One of H.E. Ambassador Pitel’s notable contributions has been his support for and promotion of educational cooperation between Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) and the Technická univerzita v Liberci - Technical University of Liberec (TUL), Czech Republic. This partnership represents an important bridge connecting Thailand and the Czech Republic through the exchange of knowledge and experiences, as well as fostering greater mutual understanding among young people and academic institutions of both countries.

Such cooperation reflects the important role of education in strengthening people-to-people relations and laying the foundation for lasting friendship and mutual understanding between Thailand and the Czech Republic.
