วันนี้วันที่ 19 มีนาคม ชาวฟินแลนด์เฉลิมฉลอง วันแห่งความเท่าเทียม เพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่นาง มินนา กานธ์ นักประพันธ์และนักต่อสู้ผู้ขับเคลื่อนสิทธิสตรีคนสำคัญ ที่มีชีวิตอยู่ในช่วงปี ค.ศ. 1844 ถึงปี ค.ศ. 1897

ความเท่าเทียมกันเป็นค่านิยมสำคัญของประเทศฟินแลนด์ ซึ่งได้สะท้อนอยู่ในภาษาที่ชาวฟินแลนด์ใช้กัน โดยที่สรรพนามบุรุษที่สามจะใช้คำว่า "hän" อย่างไม่ระบุเพศว่าเป็นชายหรือเป็นหญิง แทนคำว่า "เขา" หรือ "เธอ" ความมุ่งมั่นที่จะให้ทุกคนเท่าเทียมและมีส่วนร่วมนั้นยังปรากฏให้เห็นในวิถีดำเนินชีวิตประจำวัน ยกตัวอย่างเช่น การเข้าห้องอบซาวน่าสาธารณะ ที่ทุกคนจะทิ้งยศถาบรรดาศักดิ์ไว้ข้างนอกทั้งหมด 🧖🏽

Today, on March 19th, we celebrate Equality Day in honour of writer and women’s rights advocate Minna Canth (1844–1897).

Equality is a core value in Finland, reflected even in our language, where the gender-neutral pronoun “hän” replaces both “he” and “she.” This spirit of inclusivity is also visible in everyday life. For example, just step into a public sauna, where status and titles are left at the door 🧖🏽

Thai-Fin Training Skills Development Project 🔑 [In English Below]

เมื่อวันที่ 11 มีนาคม 2025 ทีมฟินแลนด์ร่วมกับ Omnia Education Partnerships (OEP) และ Tavastia Education Consortium ได้ร่วมหารือกับสำนักงานคณะกรรมการอาชีวศึกษา (OVEC) ในประเทศไทย นำโดย นายยศพล เวณุโกเศศ เลขาธิการคณะกรรมการการอาชีวศึกษา

การประชุมครั้งนี้เน้นที่ โครงการพัฒนาแรงงานทักษะสูง การฝึกอบรมและ เน้นการเรียนรู้ทางทฤษฎีกับประสบการณ์การทำงานจริง เพื่อรองรับความต้องการของตลาดแรงงานในปัจจุบัน

โครงการนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ:
📌 พัฒนาแรงงานที่มีทักษะและเพิ่มพูนทักษะทางภาษา ผ่านการศึกษาและการฝึกอบรมวิชาชีพ (TVET) ที่สอดคล้องกับแบบจำลองการศึกษาของฟินแลนด์
📌 ปรับปรุงการศึกษาในสาขาเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล เกษตรกรรม และธุรกิจบริการ โดยใช้แนวทางการเรียนรู้แบบบูรณาการที่ผสมผสานการเรียนการสอนเชิงทฤษฎีกับประสบการณ์การทำงานจริง พร้อมทั้งส่งเสริมการทำงานร่วมกันระหว่างภาครัฐและเอกชน
📌 สนับสนุนการพัฒนาวิชาชีพของผู้สอนและนักเรียน โดยส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และสร้างการพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่องในการฝึกอบรมวิชาชีพ โครงการนี้มุ่งเป้าไปที่นักศึกษาในสาขาต่างๆ รวมถึงเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล การเกษตร และอุตสาหกรรมการบริการ รวมถึงนักการศึกษาและสถาบันอาชีวศึกษา

🇫🇮 Team Finland in collaboration with Omnia Education Partnerships (OEP) and Tavastia Education Consortium had a productive discussions with the Office of Vocational Education Commission (OVEC) in Thailand, led by Secretary-General Mr. Yotsapol Venugoses on 11 March 2025.

The meeting focused on High Skills Labor Development Project, training and emphasizes theoretical learning with real work experience to support the needs of the current labor market.

The project aims to:
📈Develop a highly skilled workforce with improved language proficiency through vocational education and training (TVET), aligning with the Finnish educational model.
🌎Enhance education in digital technology, agriculture, and service industries through integrated learning and public-private sector collaboration.
📚 Support the professional development of educators and students through knowledge exchange. This project targets students in various fields, including digital technology, agriculture, and service industries, as well as educators and vocational institutions.

80 years of Moomin stories 🏡💙 [In English Below]

ปี 2568 นี้เป็นปีที่ 80 ของเรื่องราวของมูมิน เรื่องราวทั้งหมดเริ่มต้นจากนิทานมูมินเรื่องแรก มูมินและอุทกภัยครั้งใหญ่ที่ตีพิมพ์เมื่อ พ.ศ. 2488 นิทานเรื่องนี้แต่งขึ้นโดย Tove Jansson ในช่วงสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 เพื่อเป็นนิทานปลอบใจตัวเองในช่วงระยะเวลาที่หมองหม่นด้วยการเล่าถึงความจริงของผู้คนนับล้านที่ต้องละทิ้งที่อยู่อาศัยและอพยพหาที่หลบภัย

2025 marks 80 years of Moomin stories. It all began with the first Moomin tale, The Moomins and the Great Flood, published in 1945. Penned by Tove Jansson during WWII as a fairytale to comfort herself during dark times, it mirrors the realities of millions of displaced people seeking refuge.

Following Moominmamma and Moomintroll’s quest to find a new home and the missing Moominpappa, the story lands in what will become known as Moominvalley. There stands a tall blue house – a joyful place where everyone is welcome, whoever they are, whenever they come.

The Moominhouse is a symbol of security, shelter and a sense of belonging. These are universal needs. Timeless needs. They are as true today as they were 80 years ago. The door is always open. 🏡 💙

Artificial intelligence (AI) is shaping societies, economies and international relations. It also has implications for international security and strategic competition. 🌐

To address these critical issues, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland and Aalto University are hosting the Helsinki Roundtable on AI and International Security. This event will foster dialogue and strengthen cooperation among democratic nations.

The event will feature an exceptional lineup of speakers, including Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen, Nokia’s CEO Pekka Lundmark, Silo AI’s CEO Peter Sarlin, Nobel laureate Bengt Holmström, and former Dutch defence minister Kajsa Ollongren, alongside other leading experts in AI research, policy, and business.

Inspiring and fruitful first Thailand-Finland Joint Working Group Meeting on Education. 📚

On February 25, 2025, representatives from the Ministry of Education of Thailand and the Embassy of Finland met to strengthen educational cooperation. 🇫🇮🇹🇭
