The list of late Real Estate Tax Statements will be published in the Saturday issue of The Globe. For more detailed information on the properties listed, please use the Tax Search option on the Atchison County website under the Treasurer's Department or use the link below. Once on the Tax Search website, type the Parcel Number into the second box labeled "Tax Identification" and check the box "Only statements with taxes due". By statute, Kansas County Treasurer's are required to send a list of all delinquent real estate properties to be published in the newspaper in August. The list for Atchison County has to be submitted this week, but there are 880 properties on the list and I'm sure most of them are a result of an oversight, as life is so hectic. If you feel you might be on the list and would like us to check so you can make payment, please call or email today. The list will become final tomorrow (Friday 8/7/2026) at noon. Thank you.

Starting on June 15, 2026, the Atchison County Treasurer's Office will begin closing at 4:30 PM, with no New Title work after 4 PM. This is in an effort to streamline our closing procedures and more closely align with the operating hours of the Kansas Department of Revenue.
