It’s another beautiful summer day here at KLEW, and we are excited to be hosting field trips all day from the Lewiston Recreation Department summer camps!

From Kindergarten through 5th grade, these young kids are getting to see first hand how our team, and the businesses based here, keep things running and support keeping Auburn and Lewiston on the national map for aviation.

One of KLEW's longest standing tenants is also one of Maine's most important first responders; LifeFlight of Maine. This summer, they are starting a new event to support their cause, the Cross for LifeFlight 5k.

Participants are invited to walk, run, or jog alongside LifeFlight crew members, former patients, and other fellow supporters – all while raising critical funds to support LifeFlight’s lifesaving mission.

We know that Auburn and Lewiston are home to the Greater L-A Triple Crown 5K Series, so some local runners might want to spread the love to this event around Back Cove in Portland on August 15th.
